Mavela Domain
The only whisky distillery in Corsica
The Mavela distillery is located at the heart of the eastern plain in the parish of Aléria, only a stone's throw from Riva Bella. A vast domain surrounded by vineyards and orchards, the domain's fruit and locally grown tree products are used to produce the spirits: whisky, eau de vie, liqueur, Cap Corse... More than 60 product references are distilled here, transforming the island's fruit and wild berries (chestnut, myrtle, citron...).
The Domaine de Mavela distils and ages the world-famous 100% Corsican whisky, as well as "alimoncinu", its most recent innovation born from the imagination and work of Mavela's teams: a unique citron and lemon liqueur.
Tasting, sale and shipment services are available on-site: the cellar is open Monday to Saturday from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. and from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. Open every day in summer.
